Travel Opportunities to Israel
The central goal of the BIEC is to engage Jewish Young Adults in order to facilitate their connection with Judaism, the Montreal Jewish community, the people and the State of Israel. BIEC provides positive Israel travel experiences through various programs such as Taglit Birthright Israel, March of the Living, & Dorot. We believe Jewish travel is a catalyst for building and enhancing Jewish identity. It is therefore, our responsibility to find effective ways of continuing relationships with alumni after their trips that will help them incorporate Jewish values, responsibility and actions into their daily lives.
Masa Israel Journey offers over 200 study, internship, and volunteer opportunities all over Israel lasting between five and twelve months. Our program finder lets you search a range of dates, locations, and types of program so you can find the most relevant options for you.
Sar-El Canada (Sometimes known as Canadian Volunteers for Israel) is the representative, in Canada, of the Sar-El program in Israel. Sar-El, the National Project for Volunteers for Israel, founded in 1982, is represented in some 30 countries world-wide.
Taglit-Birthright Israel provides a gift of first time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26 from around the world. We want young Jewish people to come to Israel, see it, experience it, talk about it, and think about what Israel means for them and the Jewish people. The trip aims to change the course of Jewish history and ensure the continuity of the Jewish people by strengthening Jewish identity, Jewish communities, and solidarity with Israel via an educational trip to Israel for Jewish young adults around the world.
